Cherthala North village office is situated in Cherthala Town near Karthyayani Devi Temple Cherthala. Cherthala north village is in Cherthala Taluk in Alappuzha Revenue Division .In 2015 the village is splitted and formed Arthunkal village .The Office building was inaugurated on 1987 by Honorable Revenue Minister of Kerala Sri. P J. Joseph The area of the village is 1073.67 Hectares. This village shares its borders with Arthunkal ,Cherthala South, Kokkothamangalam Kadakarapally and Vayalar villages. There are 21 muncipal wards & 3 Cherthala South panchayath wards in this village .It Extends east from KSRTC Stand to Thaikal Bridge West
