Palaruvi water falls

Palaruvi Waterfalls, which literally translates to ‘Stream of Milk’, comes down through rocks from a height of 300 feet. This has turned into a delightful picnic spot where one can enjoy a spectacular view uninterrupted. The rocky terrain one has to traverse before reaching it can be cumbersome but once these majestic waterfalls come into sight, any kind of fatigue disappears immediately. The cool water is frequented by those seeking a refreshing dip and it regularly attracts people in large numbers. Visiting hours: 08:00 - 16:00 hrs

Aryankavu village is situated on the eastern part of Kollam district with an area of 15738.70 H and is at the border between Kerala and Tamilnadu on National Highway 744.The village lies along a mountain pass in Western Ghats called Aryankavu Pass or Schencottah Gap. The Punalur-Shenkottai broad gauge railway line also passes through Aryankavu. Aryankavu is 78 km away from Kollam and 36 km away from Punalur.
