Chekkiad is a Census Town city situated in Vadakara taluka of Kozhikode district. As per the Population Census 2011, there are total 5,051 families residing in the Chekkiad city. The total population of Chekkiad is 24,246 out of which 11,194 are males and 13,052 are females thus the Average Sex Ratio of Chekkiad is 1,166.
