Thekkumbhagam village is one of the villages in the Karunagapally taluk of Kollam district. On the Kollam-Karunagapally National Highway, you can cross the Neendakara and Vettuthara from the Dalavapuram bridge to reach the village. The island is surrounded by Ashtamudi Lake.
