Thalassery village office

Thalassery Village is the headquarters or Kasaba Village of Thalassery Taluk. The Thalassery Village Office Building is located about 100 meters northeast of the Thalassery Mini Civil Station where the Taluk Office is located, on the north side of the Thalassery - Kannur National Highway and near the Thalassery Stadium. The Village Office started functioning in the new building in 2001. Thalassery village is as old as Thalassery taluk [old Kottayam taluk]. The village falls under the Thalassery Municipal Corporation. Thiruvangadu and Kodiyeri are the other two villages under Thalassery municipality. Area: 1372.45 acres
