Nemom village office

Nemom is a village in Thiruvananthapuram Taluk in Thiruvananthapuram District. The Village Office is located near NH 66 at Nemom signal junction nearest to the Nemom Police station and opposite to Nemom post office. Nemom village was a part of Nemom panchayth and added to corporation during the expansion of Trivandrum corporation. Nemom Village is located 6 km away from Thampannoor railway station and 12 km from Thiruvananthapuram international airport. It comes under Nemom legislative Assembly and Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha Constituency. NSS College for women, Govt. Women polytechnic, SCT College of Engineering, Amritha vidyapeedam etc are the major educational instituitions located in this village. Merryland Studio, the second film studio in Kerala established in 1950 by the legendary P. Subramaniam also located in Nemom village. Industrial Estate, CSIR – National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST) etc are recognized industrial organizations in Nemom Village.
