Periye village office

The history of the village starts right from the British rule and Periya is a part of South Canara Dist of Madras Presidency. After state reorganisation, the southern part of South Canara comes under Kerala. The present office of Periya Village is just a 100metres away from National Highway passing from Kanhangad to Kasaragod. Krishibhavan Periya and CHC Periya are very near to village office
