Kottur Village is located in North - Western side of Kottoor Panchayath. Village comprised of seven desom (blocks) viz. 1.Moolad, 2.Narayamkulam, 3.Kottur, 4.Peravachery, 5.Kunnaramvally, 6.Thiruvode and 7.Paloli.

Redressal of public grievances,Protection of Government land.Various services related to land.Collection of Basic Tax, Plantation Tax, Building Tax etc and effecting Revenue Recovery.Disaster management. Election-Census related work
